MEET BEST SELLER AUTHOR, MAYA VERZONILLA, AKA MAYA THE SHAMAN ON HER COLLABORATIVE BOOK “AWAKENING STARSEEDS: DREAMING INTO THE FUTURE, VOL. 3

Q:  Tell your readers a little story about yourself.

Maya The Shaman: My name is Maya Verzonilla, AKA Maya The Shaman. I am a descendant of Lemuria or Mu (the never-loss first continent of the Pacific). Born in Maharlika (Philippines) and lived most of my life in America, I understand the ailing need for the West to Awaken to the offerings of the East for its healing connection. Coming from a lineage of Healers and Shaman, I came to follow my lineage of Shamanism. I have devoted nearly two decades to this sacred work as part of my purpose and mission. I was born with abilities to see beyond the 3D realm, making me a seer. In my healing work, there’s no judgment to seeing all types of energies, dark entities that cling to humans or otherwise, because I assist in clearing these unwanted visitors. Most of the ailments on planet Earth are caused by the blanket of darkness that hovered and coated human consciousness, spreading out on our planet as a gridwork. The awakened ones are working very hard to undo these dark grids.

Authentic healing comes with having a support system. Through my Original Healing Modality, Lemurian Code Healing, I assisted the Awakening of my clients and Starseeds. In assisting, reversing, opening, or re-charging energetically my clients come back to their own purpose and mission. Through the “Art of Remembering using Lemurian Code Healing,” one heals. As one heals, they also heal others.

I am a universalist, and my work is spiritual-energetic in nature. And while I respect everyone’s religious background, I also provide them a larger picture of what our Universe has to offer them. Everyone gets to choose once the knowledge is revealed. This becomes their gift to knowing and remembering. This is my mission and why I am born to share my gifts.

My great-great-grandfather Shaman Don Pedro is from Maharlika (Philippines). He is a timekeeper and a shape-shifter Shaman of his time, working solely for the pure light of the Creator. Don Pedro is an authentic Lemurian Shaman, a spiritual mystic who walks on water, flies through the air, and opens portals not seen by human eyes. My grandmother, Lola Senyang, speaks of his connection to the invisible world of the sacred with great honor and reverie. Today, I continue to receive downloads of Don Pedro’s guidance through his knocks, a way for us to connect, where telepathic communication and information comes to me as I receive them directly from him.

Q:  What inspired you to co-author, write, and contribute to this collaborative book series of Awakening Starseeds at Radhaa Publishing House? When is this book coming out?

Maya The Shaman:   I love sharing. I especially love to share real, authentic, and mysterious stories, even when some people have no knowledge or understanding of other dimensions or realities. Sharing my story in the Awakening Starseed book series without holding back or suppressing my Truth is important to me. This 3rd Volume Amazon Kindle has just launched on August 12. The paperback will shortly follow.

Awakening Starseeds: Dreaming Into the Future, Vol. 3  is out now on Amazon Kindle and is followed by paperback shortly.

Q:  How did Radhaa Publishing House help you? What was the process?

Maya The Shaman:   Radhaa Publishing House is a unique platform that offers writers authentic sharing possibilities through collaborative books. They encourage potential authors who have gifts to share their stories and wisdom so they can help others understand their own process of transformation. Many writers have hesitations about sharing because of fears they may not be perfect writers. The writers at Radhaa Publishing House get guidance through feedback, and their work gets edited and polished, formatted, and finally prepared for publishing. This helps the writers feel good and makes them feel confident.

Q:  How supported did you feel through this creative and collaborative process? What was the best part of this whole experience?

Maya The Shaman:   Radhaa encouraged me to write about Lemuria, spirituality, and my Shaman great-great-grandfather Don Pedro. She totally supported me in submitting my work. We have other writers read our stories. Sometimes we have partners who also critique us besides Radhaa Publishing House. This is all under the guidance of Radhaa Publishing House, so we feel like there’s a community here dedicated to helping. While others have greater needs, some upcoming writers are very sensitive and may still need clearing or healing with their stories. Radhaa Publishing House offers a convenient additional service, the Creative Writer Coaching program, available for an easy and effortless way to feel comfortable in the process. You can simply submit your chapter, and the editor in charge will take care of it for you. Easy.

Q: What would you tell anyone who might be interested in writing for Radhaa Publishing House?

Maya The Shaman:   Don’t hesitate to claim your story. Go for it! It’s your time. When you say, “I’m ready to show up,” the Universe supports you.

Q: What have you gotten out of the experience?

Maya The Shaman:   I celebrate being a multi-published author. And the time is now to elevate our human consciousness to embrace the Golden Age!

Q: Lastly, where can readers find you? Please share your links

Maya The Shaman:   There are several interviews online that you may also like to read about my healing methods on Lemurian Code Healing and Infinite Cosmic Records. The Lemurian Code Healing modality is beyond ordinary. It’s extraordinary. It has been evolving to reach its most sacred connection to the divine that created a direct link to rediscovering your past lives so you can understand your present life, through Infinite Cosmic Records. Good or bad karma allows one to learn lessons as humans experience the 3D duality, making one connect the dots with clarity. INFINITE COSMIC RECORDS is the perfect extension of my modality LEMURIAN CODE HEALING. It clarifies the missing link in one’s reincarnation story. During a session, one can experience a higher connection of being a seer of their own life while I guide them in the Lemurian Shamanic journey. My sessions with my clients are like opening a book of their past, present, or future lives that were deeply buried in their subconscious-cosmic minds, allowing them to see clearly the big picture to discover who they are. This is exciting as their higher self takes them on a spiritual tour. This is how they solve the missing link in their present questions or traumatic reality they are trying to clear.

My forthcoming book, “INFINITE COSMIC RECORDS: SACRED DOORWAYS TO HEALING & REMEMBERING,” is coming out this Fall 2022. I have asked my clients to share their discoveries during their sessions with me. I could have easily told the stories myself in my book, but when I asked them if it was okay for them to share, my willing and happy clients took their time to contribute stories of their INFINITE COSMIC RECORDS session with me in real-time, making this all purely their sharing authentic stories from their hearts, into my book. As a reader, you will be amazed by each unique story shared. My clients were equally amazed. I hope you will take advantage of such unusual experiences shared in my upcoming book to inspire you. It’s proof that human beings are truly multi-dimensional beings, and we did not just arrive here in one lifetime. If you wish to explore the greater parts of you, I am here to be your Shaman guide.

To understand my desire to explain further my method and what my clients say about their sessions with me, please visit another interview done by LA’s Formidable Women Magazine: Maya Verzonilla, AKA Maya the Shaman | Formidable Woman Magazine; thank you for your support. Much love, light, and may peace and healing prevail for all of humanity!

The Untold Stories by Maheshwar Narayan Sinha

51SzCpanERL._SX322_BO1,204,203,200_

  • Title: The Untold Stories
  • Author: Maheshwar Narayan Sinha
  • Paperback: 164 pages
  • Publisher: 24by7Publishing

The Untold Stories is a collection of 6 short stories and one long story. The stories included are:
1. The Genius
2. The Deal
3. Kaala Dupatta
4. God in Chain
5. A word of Silence
6. The Guest

and the Long story is “The Untold Stories”

The variety in the themes used in each story is the main highlight. The author has explored many themes such as love, sorrow, education system, child abuse, unemployment, etc. The similarity of the themes of the stories with real-life will help the reader to connect with them.

Among the stories, I liked God in Chain most. The subject which is taken by the author for narration is absolutely good.  There is no similarity between the stories which is a good trait of short story collections. This will help a reader to read smoothly without the fear of getting lost if you take a break in reading.

The language used to express the plots are largely good except some typos here and there. Though the author has tried to tell a new plot in each story, some may fall in already written subjects. The effort taken by the author to innovate his writing style through these plots is appreciable.

The design of the cover is something that has to be appreciated. The unique design in the shade of green is perfect for this book. Altogether, it is a good short story collection for a weekend reading.

Rhythm of Spiritual Beats by Srinivasan Panchanadam Nathan

Book name:- Rhythm of Spiritual Beats
Author:-  Srinivasan Panchanadam Nathan
Publisher:- Educreation Publishing
Language:- English
Book length:- 140 pages

“…Stretch your wings and fly high
the cage is open, you need not sigh
build yourself as beautiful as you want,
pain your inner self deep till the dawn…”
– Rhythm of Spiritual beats ( Srinivasan Panchanadam Nathan)

This an elegant collection of short poems. I’m impressed with the empowering nature of the poems. Usually, the subject of poems is somewhat around the deepest emotions of humans such as love and grief. But in this collection, I have seen many poems with hope and faith. This is surely the rhythm of spirits which keeps saying not to quit. I felt that poems are well built because they are gazing into the soul and not wandering through outside life.

The language used was elegant, lucid enough to convey and powerful enough to trigger hope in readers.
Many poems in this collection are so memorable. I’m sure that, I will remember them for a long time.
The illustration given along with the poems are very nice. They are appropriate and breaks the monotonous nature of poems. I really liked some illustrations. This is actually a good trend these days. Two different sides of art in one bunch is appreciable.

Altogether it is a nice collection of short poems. Recommended to every poetry lovers out there…

Author Interview: Riddhi Pranay Wagle

A conversation with Riddhi Pranay Waghle, author of To petrichor, published by Bluerose Publishers

52597925_553037061848145_2667636734807769088_n.jpg

  1. Tell us about yourself.

Ans. I am the girl you see sitting in a park with a notebook and pen, the kind of person you see walking alongside an elderly couple, secretly admiring them, or the one who keeps short notes in the restaurants I visit, for someone who’d come to clean my table after I leave. I have been the happy-go-lucky person since my childhood, yet I grew up believing that books make better friends. I find poetry, my safe place, my home. I am pursuing English Literature currently, and with all my passion. Besides, I wish to make people read more poetry, because verses don’t lie, and lately; we’ve stopped Living and just started Surviving. I find solace in verses, and soul in fiction. I sincerely feel that words have more power, if directed correctly.

  1. If not being an author, what was your dream in life?

Ans. My impulsive trait has taught me to be versatile. I studied Science up to class 10, Commerce in Senior Secondary, and Currently, I am going with Arts. Since I like trying new things, there is no One Dream I could’ve turned into reality, if I wasn’t an Author. But I would have gone with Travel Journalism to satisfy my Wanderlust. This is on my list, for the time being. I had started writing since a very young age, since the days I had newly turned a teenager. When kids my age would wander around with their friends on their bicycles, I would hawk fiction to tuck my mind and conscious in them. My love for books is irreversible. It can be said, I haven’t really known anything else apart from Reading and Writing.

51ZKSeJNnRL._SX313_BO1,204,203,200_

  1. Who do you attribute your success to?

Ans. I was the student in the class, who would never get up on herself to take a stand, or even answer a question, even if I had practiced it a ten times in my notebook, and was confident about it. Everything was running fine, until I wrote my first poem. It was class 8, and I straight went to my English teacher Mr. Rajendra Singh Aluna, who not only appreciated me for that piece of verse, but also encouraged me to write more and interact more. The seed had germinated, and it brought confidence, light, hope and positivity as it grew. My paths were now clearer than before, my ship was ready to sail.

Secondly, it is my family, my home. Not only I learnt the basics of my Native language, but the basics of Life; to give, to forgive, and to achieve. I know, my parents live their life in installments, that we (I and my sister) bring to them as we walk each step towards our dreams, to conquer life. They have wholly shaped me to be a better version of myself till the day I die. Their enormous support is the reason why everything that I have achieved, was marked. So this, is for them. For making me a good human being first, and to let me design my life in my own way, to make things the way I want, to keep me in the limelight.

  1. Any message you would like to give to your readers?

Ans. ‘To Petrichor’ is a creation solely from the Heart. Each word, each verse has been felt with a lot of Gravity not only to be written, but also to make others feel the same depth as they read it. I feel readers are as important as writers, but being a good critique as you read, is more than important when it comes to a path full of writers. Find art, is also an art, which starts when you read good, and you read more.

The book I present to you, is a rollercoaster ride from 9pm to 3am, from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm. It has perspectives, it has sentiments, it shows both, male and female perspectives, but in the end; it isn’t what I felt once, it is what we all feel every day. It is when we call take up our call and answer the universe. It is when we all, randomly find ourselves sitting and smiling, and that; is exactly when we react to the signs sent by the Universe. I sincerely hope, you find yourself in the pages of this book, that you find yourself smiling randomly as you recall one of the verses that you most connected to.

Day of Reckoning by Jack Higgins

51D5WNG1NYL._SX293_BO1,204,203,200_.jpgSynopsis: A death in Brooklyn sends reverberations around the world in Jack Higgins’s thrilling new adventure.

Higgins’s novels of honor, bravery, and irresistible intrigue delight millions of readers every year, but few of his books pack the sheer narrative power of Day of Reckoning.

Journalist Katherine Johnson made the mistake of getting too close to the secrets of international crime boss Jack Fox — but Fox made the mistake of killing her. Katherine’s ex-husband is Blake Johnson, head of the clandestine White House department known as The Basement, and with the President’s permission, the former FBI agent is about to take revenge. Wherever the money trail leads — New York, England, Ireland, the Middle East — Johnson and his Irish colleague, Sean Dillon, plan to hit Fox where it hurts the most, by cutting his illegal businesses to shreds, until Fox stands defenseless before his enemies.

But Fox did not become powerful by letting his enemies get that close. If Johnson and Dillon want to take him on, they will have to face his own brand of revenge. And it is a revenge every bit as deadly as their own.

Day of Reckoning is brilliant suspense — the master working truly at the height of his powers.

Mini Review

Jack Higgins is a master craftsman of crime thrillers. But often his many plot-lines are found to be repeating. This book is also a creative crime thriller with a suspense twist. The climax has a very good twist and the action-packed narrative makes this book a good entertainment. The backbone of this story is strong characters. Since this is a character-driven book, he made the plot so. Overall it is a good weekend read.

img_20190223_073937.jpg

My Review

The story revolves around Akshay Saxena, who is recently returned to India after he has been fired from his job in the UK. He joins ailing Kalim publications as an editor in a mission to revive its fortunes. As an editor, he is thrown to an almost an impossible challenge of producing 5 best sellers in a year. Gradually this challenge changes Akshay from an honest editor to a manipulative and cunning editor who is determined to achieve his goals. How and what transforms him back to being a honest one is the backbone of the plot.

This book really gives an insight into the drama behind publishing books. How they are manipulating books to make them well-intended bestsellers, deserving or not.
This is a very interesting book solely because of its plot. The author has picked up a subject which is almost untouched for years. Using his remarkable ability to craft good stories, he turned this plot into an engaging one. This “bestseller” has the ability to become a bestseller. It is quite an irony that a book which is dealing with writing and publishing become a “bestseller”. The thing which got me fascinated is, how brilliantly he crafted a story out of this unique background.

Though this is short-read, I’m satisfied because the novel is crisp and not in one point it became flat and unenthusiastic. The intent of the author to make this a fast-paced story is indeed to make the book more engaging. The narration is good because it gives the reader a complete visualization of the scenes. If the background is carved this good, a story based on it will come handy. The story also has some hints on real-life publicity stunts that we’re all familiar with like celebrity-who-writes-the-autobiography and a banker who is now broke and writes inspirational books etc.

I believe the  primary aim of a book is to provide entertainment as far as laymen concerned. In that sense, this is one of the best book released in 2018. The author has given a sarcastic touch all over the story to make it much more interesting. I found this is a growing trend in India, telling a story in the capsule of humor. I like this capsule because it breaks monotonous narration in many books.

The cover is truly amazing, Rupa publications have done a good job in designing it.

Overall, it is a very good engaging story to all the readers who are curious to know what is going on behind in the publishing industry.

My review

Amma and I is a heartfelt story of beautiful love and affection between a mother and daughter. I cannot begin this review without saying a few words about the beautiful and yet adorable cover of this book. It is one of the best covers I have ever seen. The adorable representation of mother and child with the touch of the iconic boat race of Kerala gives me goosebumps at the very first site. Also, the representation of the boat race gives a hint of the background of the story.

Like the title suggests, this is a story of a mother, Kripa and her daughter Maya set in the ’70s at a small town in Kerala. Maya is an ambitious girl in her 20’s and she wants to live her life in her own terms. Her parents start finding a suitable groom for her as they think she is at the marriageable age. The story goes very smooth until this stage with a perfect detailing of the dreamy life of Maya. The author introduces only one side of every main character until this stage. A clever introduction of twist at this point changes the lives of Maya and Kripa drastically from here onwards. This is where the story picks up pace and intensity.

The characters are gradually developed from the beginning to the end. The character of Maya was evolved from a small town girl with ambitious dreams to a stronger, confident, career-oriented woman at the end. Also, the character of Kripa was developed over time. The author never loosed the lovable nature of Kripa when she was developing this character throughout the story.

Basically, I always liked the story revolving around the strong female characters. Also being someone from Kerala, I felt the emotional attachment at the very first moment when I started the reading.

I will always think that the most emotionally bound relationship in every person’s life is with their own mothers. The care and selflessness of every mother are surely unreplaceable. We all got the first sight of true love from our own mothers. Because of this delicate nature, I think the portrayal emotions related to motherhood will be so difficult. Throughout the story, I felt the true emotion of the affectionate love between a mother and daughter. This is because of the immense command of the author on her storytelling skill.

The language used is simple, yet it is powerful to express all emotions of characters. This is a well-constructed plot from that point of view. This is a must read for everyone who loves a family drama.
